    (Wiring Guide)

    1. To properly wire the side markers, you will need to remove the rear bumper. The QR code supplied with your kit will take you directly to a video showing bumper removal. It will also go over some of our basic wiring techniques and other useful tips. (Refer to QR on media page)

    2. Once you have the bumper removed, you will want to locate all the wires necessary for installation and a good location to tap into them. We recommend not tapping the wires too close to the taillights, as if you make a mistake, you will have less wire to work with to correct it.

The wiring colors for the SUPRA TAIL LIGHTS stand as follows:

    Brake Light- Green/Blue wire

    Running Light- White/Purple

Reverse light- Green/White (Refer to Figure 3 for Location)

Ground- Brown (Refer to figure 3 For Location)

All of the wires on the side marker are clearly marked, with the exception of ground, so that they cannot be mistaken. (Refer to Figure 4)

(Please note that all wiring colors referenced in this guide are specific to the CURRENT USDM model of the MKV GR Supra. We highly recommend testing all wires before tapping to ensure you are using the correct one)

    1. Next, you will want to begin tapping into the factory brake lights and the rear brake light. To give you a better understanding of where to tap into the factory lighting elements, we’ve included 3 images to help you locate the best areas. You can also use these images to locate the wires initially. Please refer to the media page for the images. (Refer to figures 1, 2, 3)

    2. Once you have the wires spliced/tapped, you will want to seal them up using the method of your choice. From there, you will want to test all your lighting functions to confirm you have wired them correctly.

    3. If all functions are working correctly, remove your factory markers, attach the LED side markers, reinstall the rear bumper, and enjoy! (We recommend Heat and rubbing alcohol to remove factory markers)

(Figure 1) (Driver's side Brake light)

This is the location for which we tapped the brake light on the driver's side of the vehicle. Here you will find the locations for the brake light and the running light on the driver's side.

(Figure 2) (Passenger side Brake Light)

This is the location we used to tap the passenger-side factory brake light. Here you will also find the necessary wires for the brake light and the Running light.

(Figure 3) (Bottom of rear end)

This image shows the connector for the factory 4th brake light. This is where you will find the wire for the reverse light and the ground wires. Be sure to note that this wire runs towards the passenger side of the vehicle.

This image shows the labels for each wire on the side marker and illustrates that the Ground wire is NOT labeled.
