When you upgrade your driveline with a mechanical clutch-type LSD, you increase temperatures in your differential fluid. These friction discs are meant to run at a specific temperature range to maintain clamp effectiveness. You can alleviate the issue by adding a GReddy higher capacity differential cover that will hold more fluid (+750cc), at the same time the differential cover will come with a M18 P1.5 tap to connect an external oil cooler, further improving temperatures. You can monitor the temps with the built in 1/8PT port which allows you to connect a temperature sensor as well. This diff cover comes with a 5000g Neodymium Magnetic drain plug, that allows it to capture small pieces of metal that could otherwise prematurely wear out your LSD.
