【TRANSFER OIL COOLER KIT】

Monitors and controls transfer oil temperature during high-load continuous driving to protect the transfer unit.

What is Transfer Unit?

• It is installed at the rear of the engine and changes the direction of the driving force coming from the transaxle differential case by 90 degrees before sending it to the rear wheels.
• In the 4WD systems used in the GR Corolla and GR Yaris etc., an electronically controlled coupling located in front of the rear differential adjusts the power sent to the rear wheels.
• The system constantly fine-tunes the power distribution to achieve the ideal balance for each driving mode (NORMAL, GRAVEL, TRACK).

Product Overview

• On the GR Corolla and GR Yaris etc., the transfer system switches to 2WD during continuous high-load driving to prevent overheating.
• The HKS TRANSFER OIL COOLER helps maintain lower transfer oil temperatures, extends oil life, and protects the transfer unit.
• For vehicles equipped with the Transfer Protection Cancel Program, full-time 4WD is available even during circuit driving by disabling the limp mode, which switches to 2WD. *(Using the cancel program may void the vehicle’s warranty. Please check your warranty terms.)
