Just because the GR Supra is about to bow out very soon doesn't mean the aftermarket is dropping the ball. To reflect this, we've added a few new heavy-hitting parts from a couple of popular brands. Whether you want to look fast, go fast, or both, our growing inventory will allow you to do both with ease.
CP Carrillo has two sets of connecting, either being a stout and worthwhile upgrade to anyone looking to up the horsepower of their 3.0-liter B58 or just up reliability. One includes the CARR fasteners, one of the strongest fasteners you can get for repeated abuse and high-power applications.
CP Carrillo: "As load requirements have increased over the years, CP-Carrillo developed an improved 3/8 CARR fastener to meet the rigorous performance standards one expects from Carrillo connecting rods. This fastener, known as the 3/8 CARR Pro-Series, has been used in many forms of racing. This stronger, higher clamp load 3/8 PS CARR fastener is replacing our standard 3/8 CARR to provide the best performance fastener in every application. The 3/8 PS CARR bolt has a thicker shank and does require more bolt stretch, to get the desired clamp load."
Anyone with a bit tighter budget or those who don't necessarily need such outright strength can opt for the WMC fasteners, which still offer an immense upgrade in strength over stock hardware.
CP Carrillo: "CP-Carrillo offers two types of fasteners: H11 tools steel (WMC) and a Multiphase (CARR) Fastener. The difference is in the material and the longevity. The H11 tool steel bolts are good for about 15-18 torque cycles and the Multiphase fasteners are good for indefinite torquings when stretch method is followed for installation."
Fresh off ADRO's design board comes a new suite of parts for the GR Supra, including their facelift front bumper, widebody kit, and reverse swan neck wing. Each are sure to make a statement wherever you go while still providing meaningful aero improvements, as expected for a company staffed by ex-motorsports engineers and aerodynamicists.
The facelift bumper, for instance, deletes much of the fake grilles on the stock bumper to allow for greater airflow into the engine bay, which equates to greater cooling, while the reverse swan neck is designed to still deliver meaningful downforce. Although an exact figure isn't given, other wings of the same family are quoted by ADRO to deliver over 100 pounds of downforce.
Keep in mind that the widebody is only compatible with the facelift bumper, which can be specced during ordering.
