New Items For GR86/FR-S/BRZ: AlphaRex Lighting, Remark Exhausts, aFe Throttle Body
The GR86 and BRZ platforms get new options for bumping up power and sound in the form of Remark cat-backs and axle-backs, as well as an aFe Power enlarged throttle body. Also new to our sites are rear lighting options from AlphaRex, including their trunk light bar and 4th brake lights, of which there are plenty to choose!
aFe Power 76mm Throttle Body
At last, a new throttle body option is here thanks to aFe Power. Its 76mm diameter is a healthy jump up from the OEM's 70mm diameter, while an adapter plate for the intake manifold ensures a quick and easy install. It's sure to deliver a meaningful and appreciable bump in throttle response, induction howl, and perhaps even a nice dose of added horsepower, all without necessitating a tune.
New Remark Exhaust Options
Remark has dropped new and affordable exhaust options for the GR86 and BRZ, with catback variants also fitting the prior-gen 86 and FR-S. Plenty of variants can be had, from burnt tips to an all-black "stealth" exhaust, but perhaps most interesting is their slanted quad-tip exhaust, intended to fit in the stock rear bumper without the need for cutting or an aftermarket lower rear valance. Somewhat evocative of Lexus' F exhausts, its stainless steel construction lends well to a beautiful finish and robust build, while being muffled and resonated for a just-right but still-agressive tone.
