"Verus Engineering set out to produce a paddle shifter unlike any other unit on the market as far as aesthetic feel, tool path generation, and location for dramatically improved haptic feedback. The factory paddle shifters are quite small in comparison and do not offer as broad of hand locations on the steering wheel as the Verus upgraded units.

We started out by scanning the factory steering wheel and disassembling the factory units to ensure we create a full replacement paddle shifter. Utilizing this scan data, we designed and iteratively improved the component through 3D printing and test fitting. Once the design was finalized, we used specifically placed tool paths to improve haptic feedback and aesthetic appeal as these units are produced in house on our 5-axis CNC mills.
