Great throaty sound without annoying your neighbors.
If you're reading this I'm sure you watched 100 hours of YouTube videos listening to different exhaust. And if you're like me you're desperately looking for a better than stock setup that doesn't sound like a "ricey" weed eater. You're also worried about spending a fortune getting the wrong sound. Well you're in luck. I literally put this exhaust on in an hour, and I'm not a huge "car guy". Its been on my car for about 20 minutes and I had to get on here and write my review.
The sound: Little louder than stock, not wake up the neighbors loud, or cant hear the radio loud but you'll notice it. Nice throaty rumble, no high pitched whines or fast bubbling rumble like many more expensive options out there.
The labor for a beginner: If I can do this you can do this.
The stock exhaust has 2 bolts (14mm) and 2 nuts (12mm) and 5 rubber hangers you'll pull or push off (can be a pain, but just keep going, it'll pop off). Keep the bolts, you'll use them again. Its not heavy, I had my car on jack stands and literally let the exhaust rest on my chest when it came down.
The MXP exhaust, I started at the rear, used a little lubricant like WD40 (I used 3in1 oil) on the metal hook that fits in the rubber hangers and they slipped right in. The next part has a rubber hanger but I recommend pushing it as far into the rear as you can and putting on the final piece before putting it on the hanger. Don't tighten anything until the end. The final piece, push it on, put the two stock bolts back in, put that center piece on the hanger and tighten all the bolts and add the tips, you're done.
